Homework Thursday








Thanks for all of the #MillerSelfies! Way to check the blog to those people. Mr. Miller is a celebrity!
Here's the homework for tomorrow:

Core 1. D & H Periods:
Try to organize the following in to a pie chart (do your best, consult wikipedia or google if you have questions):
How many animals do you have?
10 people answered 0
6 people answered 1
3 people answered 2
5 people answered 3 or more
H Period only: Find an example of a biased or leading graph online, print it out, and bring it in to class tomorrow.

Extended 1. G, E Periods:
No homework. Hasta maƱana.

Extended 1. A Period:
Graph the following functions:
f(x) = 2 (x - 3)^2 - 5
g(x) = -1/3 (x + 1)^2 + 2
h(x) = 3 (x - 4)^2
Solve for the equation of the absolute value function which passes through the point: (1, 3) and has a vertex of ( -2, -4 )
Solve for the equation of the quadratic function which passes through the point (0, 7) and has a vertex of ( 3, 10 )
