Hey guys- here is your homework for Tuesday's classes. See you all tomorrow-

EXTENDED 1. A PERIOD:

Please make a table and graph the following function:
f(x) = 4^x
a. What is the horizontal asymptote?
b. How does the graph change if g(x) = 4^(x+3) + 1
c. What is the new horizontal asymptote?
2. Find the following answers as a fraction (not decimal):
a. 3^-4
b. (1/3)^3
c. (2/5)^-2
d. 9^(1/2)
e. 125^(-1/3)

CORE 1. H PERIOD:
Continue working on your project. Your assignments for this week are:

CORE 1. D PERIOD:
Please make a box and whisker plot of your data for your project. (Yes, this can be used as one of your project graphs!)

EXTENDED 1. G & E PERIOD:
a. Find the x and y intercepts, and vertical asymptotes of the following function:
    f(x) = (2x^2 - 1x + 5) / (x^2 - 8x + 7)
b. Write the equation of the function with x intercepts of -2 and 4, and vertical asymptotes of 0 and 3.
